This is a simple, yet stunning creation that uses a minimal amount of colours, but creates a bold, striking effects that really bring out the dynamic qualities of the Pebeo Fantasy range.
This technique can also be used for jewellery.
Prisme English Red
Take your small wooden canvas board, and pour the Crimson Vitrail into the tray, so it covers the surface with an even depth.
Pour two defined circles of Prisme Red into the Vitrail paint. (Ideally with a small amount of space between each.)
Pour Prisme Turquoise into the centre of each circle of Prisme Red. (Be careful not to pour too much, as the paint spreads quickly – you can always add more!)
Then, with a pipette you can add the finishing touches to you piece by splattering a small amount of Vitrail wherever you like. You can do this by dropping the paint gently and directly, or you can go freestyle. The choice if yours.
Slowly the paint will self-manipulate, expand and react over time, and you’ll end up with a wonderfully unique creation.
Leave the painting to dry overnight on a flat surface.
(These paints are solvent based, so must be used in a well ventilated area. It’s advisable to wear latex gloves, and to avoid contact with clothing, and skin. Results will always differ from video, due to the nature of the paint.)
